Park Maitland Class Donates Items - 2nd Year

The Third Grade Class at Park Maitland School, under the direction of Ms. Dawson, and many volunteers have held their 2nd Annual event.  Three local rescues were involved:  Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida, Inc.; A Better Life Rescue and Purrs and Whiskers Shelter, Inc. (PAWS).

The kids, along with their family and friends, have been collecting items such as food, dog beds, cat beds, crates, toys, yummies, collars/leashes, etc. since the first part of May.  The three rescues who were the beneficiaries of all the wonderful items, met on May 22, 2012 at Park Maitland to receive
their "goodies". These children are being taught the lesson of giving and how important it is to treat animals of all kinds with love and respect.  They are a shining example of what our animal rescue future holds.
