Animal Spotlight

Hi, my name is Brulee!

ADOPTED!

HI! My name is Brulee and I'm even sweeter than the dessert I was named after! I am approximately 5 months old, but I have the manners of a much older pup! My foster mom says I have had a rough start to life, only having three legs and difficulty with the remaining back leg, but I will never let that stop me from running right into your heart. I was diagnosed with a condition known as Neospora which has given me slight paralysis of my back leg, but that hasn't stopped me from learning to get around as well as my foster brothers and sisters. I am a very social girl and I love playing with ALL my foster siblings- other puppies, of course, Rudy, the cat (when he says I can play with him), Stewart Little, the hamster, and I've even met the lizards, but I didn't really care much about them. I am also great with small children of all ages.  I love sleeping in my foster mom's bed, but I will quietly sleep in my kennel when I'm told. I love to find my soft bed on the floor during the day when I need to catch a quick snooze! I know a lot of commands and am learning something new every day. I am SOO soft and cuddly that it's hard for my foster mom to stop squeezing me at times, but I don't mind! I love going for car rides and will ride very nicely anywhere you will let me sit! I'm shacking up with Erin in Gainesville until you invite me to stay in your home (and I promise I will make my way into your heart!) Check out my videos and come visit me! I can't wait to meet my new FURever family!

LRROF Senior for Seniors Program offers adopters over the age of 60 (only one adopter needs to be over 60, a spouse or partner can be 60 or younger) to receive a 50% discounted adoption rate when they adopt a dog ages 8 and older. As part of this program, adopters will also receive a startup kit (bowl, heartworm flea/tick preventative, toy).

Purina Seniors Program, sponsored by the folks at Purina, will offer a $50 discount on the adoption fee of any adopted animal from LRROF for those aged 60 and older (only one adopter needs to be over 60, a spouse or partner can be 60 or younger). Only 5 of these promotions are available, on a first come, first served basis. Adopter may choose to donate the $50 back to Lab Rescue at their choice.
