Hi, I'm Mikey and I am extremely lucky to be alive.  I was hit by a car and could not walk.  Animal Control picked me up and although I was in pain, I managed to charm them and they felt compelled to call Lab Rescue instead of well, you know - the alternative.

Lucky for me, Lab Rescue came through and paid for me to be all patched up!  I also have a pellet (from a pellet gun) in my hip that doc thought best to leave alone, not to mention a 4 inch old scar across my chest.  I wish I could tell my foster family how this all happened but quite honestly it is all in the past and I am happy to forget about it.  All that matters now is that I am actually getting back all the love I dish out.  My foster family thought I was super calm and sweet due to my medication while recovering but I have been clean now for over 3 weeks I am still the same.  I am happy to be by your side but have no issues if you need to leave for a while.  I love cats, dogs, kids and well just life in general!  I am under 2 years old and  housebroken with zero bad habits and I promise you will have no regrets if you give me a home and a family for life.  I am still recovering but I am almost there and it wont be long before doc releases me completely.  They say I have been a trooper through this ordeal but that has been the easy part. Wont you help Lab Rescue pay for my surgery so they can keep helping Labs in need?
