Success Stories

Emma

Emma

In 2006 I was blessed to be introduced to Lab Rescue when I found Ellie Mae. I have grown up with dogs all my life and when I purchased my first house I need a dog to make it a home! I saw her picture online and new I had to have her. After driving to Tampa and adopting Ellie, I knew I had to be part of the organized that did such wonderful work. During my time volunteering I came across another Lab, Emma that a family was looking to surrender. Once I saw her, I knew she was the final addition we needed. She was by my side for many milestone and ended up being my daughters best friend.

Last month Emma Sue crossed over the rainbow bridge and has left a hole in my heart. She was a loyal friend to me and my family and will be greatly missed. Her canine sister, Ellie isn't the same since she left us. Rest in peace my sweet dog. You weren't lucky to find me......I was lucky to find you.
